X. This Contract Is the Complete Agreement

The Committee and the Union acknowledge that during the negotiations that resulted in this agreement, each had the unlimited right and opportunity to make demands and proposals with respect to any subject or matter not removed by law from the area of collective bargaining, and that the entire understanding and agreements arrived at by the parties after the exercise of that right and opportunity are set forth in this agreement. It is the intent of the parties that the provisions of this agreement will supercede all prior agreements, understandings, and practices, oral or written, express or implied, between such parties and shall govern their entire relationship and shall be the sole source of any and all rights or claims which may be asserted in arbitration hereunder or otherwise.
